Section 01

Overview

At IDT we want every learner to feel confident in their investment. If a student discovers within the first 15 calendar days that the course is not right for them, they may be eligible for a refund — provided the eligibility conditions below are met.

This policy applies to all courses offered at the Institute of Digital Technology, Okara, and is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand. Please read each section carefully before enrolling.

Section 02

Eligibility for a Refund

All four conditions below must be satisfied simultaneously. A refund request that fails even one condition will not be approved.

📅
Time Frame
A written refund request must reach us within 15 days of the official course start date (Day 1 counts as the first calendar day).
📋
Attendance
The student must have attended 100% of all scheduled classes held during those first 15 days. Verified via sign-in sheets or online session logs.
📝
Coursework
Any assignments scheduled in that period must be submitted on time.
💳
Payment Standing
All fees due at enrolment (monthly or three-month advance) must have been paid in full and cleared.

Important: Students who miss even one class in the first 15 days, arrive more than 15 minutes late to any session, or fail to submit required tasks will not qualify for a refund under any circumstances.

Section 03

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot issue a refund in any of the following circumstances, regardless of the reason provided:

Change-of-mind after 15 days — deciding the course is no longer of interest after the refund window has lapsed.
Partial attendance — missing or skipping any initial classes, regardless of the reason (illness, travel, personal commitments).
Voluntary withdrawal for personal commitments, job changes, travel plans, or similar personal reasons.
Code-of-conduct violations resulting in suspension or expulsion from the institute.
Promotional or discounted enrolments where specific offer terms state "non-refundable."
Force-majeure delays (e.g., internet outage, public holidays) that do not exceed 10% of scheduled class hours.

Section 04

How to Request a Refund

Follow these steps to submit your refund request. Incomplete or late submissions cannot be considered.

01

Submit Your Request

Email accounts@idt.com.pk or submit the Refund Request Form inside your student portal. Include your full name, course title, date of first class, and a brief reason for the request.

02

Records Review

IDT's Accounts Team will verify your attendance records, sign-in sheets or session logs, and coursework submissions against the eligibility criteria.

03

Decision & Confirmation

A decision and written confirmation will be sent to you within 7 business days of your request being received.

04

Refund Processed

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days. Bank processing times may vary beyond this window.

💰
Section 05

Refund Amounts

The amount refunded depends on your enrolment payment plan. In all cases, an admission processing fee is deducted.

Monthly Plan

Monthly Fee Payment

If you cancel within the eligible 15-day window, your monthly payment will be refunded after deducting the admission processing fee.

Admission Processing Deduction
Rs. 2,500
3-Month Advance (15% Off)

Three-Month Advance Payment

If you cancel, we deduct the Rs. 2,500 processing fee plus charges for the classes you already attended (billed at the regular monthly rate). The remaining balance is refunded.

Processing Fee + Classes Attended
Rs. 2,500 + attended
🔔

Please note: Once your fee is paid, it is not fully refundable. At least Rs. 2,500 will always be deducted as an admission processing charge. No additional fees will be charged beyond what is explicitly stated at the time of enrolment. Bank or card processing charges are outside IDT's control and are non-refundable.

Section 06

Course Postponement & Transfers

If a refund isn't the right option for you, IDT offers flexible alternatives to help you stay on track.

🕐

Batch Deferral

If you are suddenly unable to continue, you may defer your enrolment to the next available batch — once, free of charge — subject to seat availability. No penalty, no extra cost.

🔁

Course Transfer

Transfers to a different IDT course must be requested within the same 15-day window and will be evaluated case-by-case by our Accounts Team.
